Can you imagine looking after 52 little ones 24 hours a day 7 days a week ….in additional of course to the 99 children aged between 5 and 10 plus the 21 children aged over 10. So you thought your kids drove you mad over the recent school holidays…..nah!
Oh and I forgot to mention they are all together in one house and not allowed outside!!
That is why our priority has been to build a school that will ease the chronic overcrowding at the Orphanage and have a more conducive place of learning and caring.
Covid 19 has reappeared and as a result the children must be kept inside the building. It is extremely hard not only on them but particularly for Medius and her several helpers. The building you see in the forefront will be 2 classrooms or Nursery rooms…
By Western standards it is primitive and basic ….but it will be a whole lot better than what is there now. Please help as we very under funded and we are running out of time before the monsoonal rains hit the area in September . Every dollar makes a huge difference and is so appreciated . Even if you can share our stories with your friends , family and business work colleagues …. time Is running out…. July and August we must make things happen…..
Our roofing needs include….234kgs of Nails, 550 pieces of timber, 220 sheets of iron ,
96 Iron Bars, Banning wire ….just to name a few…..in total NZD 16,620…..before the rain hits….

THIS IS EXTREMELY DOABLE. HAVING BEEN THERE AND SEEN THE CONDITIONS MYSELF I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST GRATIFYING THINGS OF MY LIFETIME , AND WILL MAKE SUCH A DIFFERENCE TO ORPHANS AS WE MOVE THEM OUT OF POVERTY AND INTO SELF SUSTAINABILITY
