The month of May is going to be full on with a number of Activities Happening simultaneously. It still raining extremely heavy.....So much so our beautiful ( Not )
kitchen was destroyed by the stormy weather late last week. We are using a small number of Red Bricks to make a much better and slightly larger kitchen.....as I write this ....Medius is already up preparing breakfast ( it is 6:15am ) IT IS DARK WET AND COLD.
And it is her birthday...... But every day she is caring for close to 172 children, no breaks no holidays , no time off..... That is why I am drawn to these wonderful people......
So long farewell old Kitchen.

The new school will take a lot of pressure off the chaotic conditions they have had to endure for so long.... as we will have a proper kitchen at the school. ... I was told by Cogan that they were using the henhouse to the left of the picture to prepare food....until I banned it....Avian bird flue etc....
The Total number of Bricks is now 40,901.!!!! If you were to lift them all together it would be over 1million kilograms .....thats the total weight of 136 African Bush elephants.!!!
Starting this week five men will shift from the Orphanage to the new school site the 29,000 Red Fired Mud Bricks.....(97 African Bush Elephants ) it will take them we hope 2 weeks....
