My last update ; less than three weeks ago , showed the foundations being dug on the new Brian Sloan Memorial Skills Training Centre ....the photos below are the latest taken 3 weeks later.... these men are incredible and they just get on and do it ...all by hand .
No concrete trucks, no concrete mixers , no power tools ...just hard work and total commitment and skill.
The Picture below was taken on Saturday (26 July ) and shows the Brickwork to the base of the four windows. It was decided to add another room where the Pole and bricks are (it will be positioned facing towards the camera) ... this will serve as an office and security post so all people entering the school will have to report in first.
A lot of forward planning is going on as to what equipment will be required and what skills will be taught.
For the moment we are wanting completition of the building before the next monsonal down pour...expected early September.
